I was awake, seem to now be dreaming
Only to wake to stiffled screaming

My life flows through as timeless blood
The eyewaters rise as Noah’s flood

Flood waters rise from earths breast
I quell my tears and wish for rest
But by your memory I am oppressed

Me neither, these words, meanings I don’t know
I lay awake, awaiting winters smothering snow
Fragmented thoughts, summer succumbing
Nerves burning, mind in need of numbing

I fear the night, now at your ropes end
Around your words my mind does bend
